The Team Behind the Team Award presented by Town and Country Roofing honors a senior student from each Frisco ISD high school that has shown exemplary efforts to support their football team and show school spirit. The student can come from any
area of the student body and a scholarship will be presented to the winners.

Liam Gunningham – Frisco High School

Liam is the Student Athletic Trainer for the Raccoons, and his dedication to the craft of athletic training is truly remarkable.  He takes immense pride in ensuring the athletes are always competition-ready, as he dedicates countless hours to their care and preparation.  He is also involved in the National Honor Society, and the PALS Leadership program.  Liam approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, never shying away from adversity.  His commitment and hard work significantly contribute to the success of the athletic program and the spirit of Frisco High as a whole, and our school is grateful to have such a passionate and diligent student on our team.  It is for these reasons that Liam is the perfect recipient for the Team Behind the Team Award.

Grace Thomas – Frisco Lone Star High School

Grace has demonstrated superior school spirit by being a member of the Lone Star Cheer Team for all 4 years and a prominent yearbook staff member.  During her senior year, she was named cheer captain and yearbook editor-in-chief.  She has done an excellent job at leading the student body at football games and will often spend her halftime taking pictures or helping other student photographers.  Grace is the 3rd Ranger in her family and has attended countless Lone Star High School events throughout the years. Her support for her school and football team is unlike any other, making her the perfect recipient for tonight’s Team Behind the Team Award!

Carson Allyn – Frisco Emerson High School

Carson has been filming practices and games for the Emerson football program since the school opened four years ago.  His positive attitude and unwavering dedication shine through, whether it’s raining, scorching at 100 degrees, or during early morning and late-night sessions.  Carson’s commitment to capturing every moment is invaluable to the team.  

Notably, Carson is the only person trusted to operate the team drone—coaches don’t even get to touch it!  The high-quality footage he produces each week helps both coaches and players refine their strategies and perform at their best.  Without Carson’s contributions, the football program wouldn’t be as successful.  His attitude and commitment make him the perfect recipient for the Team Behind the Team award.

Julianne Trites – Frisco Reedy High School

Julianne takes her position on the Sapphires Drill Team very seriously, consistently demonstrating integrity, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.  Whether she’s practicing routines or performing on the field, she always gives 100 percent.  Her commitment doesn’t stop there—Julianne is also a dedicated wrestler, bringing the same level of discipline and determination to the mat as she does to her Sapphires performances.  In addition to her hard work, Julianne excels at building strong relationships with students across different programs.  She’s known for encouraging and cheering on her peers, creating a supportive and uplifting environment for everyone around her. Her positive energy is felt throughout the school, making her the perfect recipient for tonight’s Team Behind the Team award.

Taylor Lile – Frisco Wakeland High School

Taylor is full of life, radiating positivity and encouragement wherever she goes. As a dedicated cheerleader and vice president of her senior class, she’s always the first to step up and show school spirit.  Her boundless energy and enthusiasm make her a standout presence at every event, and she never seems to run out of ways to uplift those around her.  In addition to her leadership roles, Taylor is actively involved in fashion club, craft club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She excels academically, maintaining stellar grades as a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. Her dedication to a wide range of activities extends across the entire school community, where she consistently inspires her peers and creates a more spirited environment. This commitment is why she’s the perfect recipient for tonight’s Team Behind the Team award.

Andrew Good – Frisco Memorial High School

Andrew is the football team manager and one of the team’s most dedicated supporters. He plays a critical role in the team’s daily operations, from filming practices to organizing and managing all equipment. His attention to detail and proactive approach help keep the team running smoothly, especially on game days like today.  Beyond his contributions to the team, Andrew shines as a member of the school’s elite choir group, performing the national anthem at pep rallies and games. His ability to balance his extracurricular commitments is a testament to his time-management and leadership skills. Andrew’s enthusiasm and dedication to his school and peers make him a true servant-leader. He consistently goes above and beyond, not just to fulfill his responsibilities, but to inspire and uplift those around him, making him the perfect recipient for the Team Behind the Team Award.

Hailey Pierson – Frisco Heritage High School

Hailey has been an integral part of the athletic program as a student athletic trainer for the past two and a half years, demonstrating exceptional dedication and commitment.  She attends all Varsity and JV games, practices, and events, providing unwavering support to athletes and coaches.  During the spring, she plays a crucial role with the baseball team, ensuring that players receive the care needed to perform at their best.  As a senior, Hailey has emerged as a strong leader, managing day-to-day operations and anticipating team needs before they are voiced.  Her willingness to mentor younger students fosters a culture of growth within the program.  A selfless servant leader, she prioritizes the needs of others, often working behind the scenes without seeking recognition.  Hailey embodies the spirit of the “Team behind the Team,” leaving a lasting impact through her dedication, leadership, and inspiring example of service.

Carlie Schroeder – Frisco Liberty High School

Carlie has  dedicated four (4) years to the Liberty High School Cheerleading squad supporting all athletic teams at every level.  Carlie is the 2024-25 Team Captain as well.  She exhibits her leadership skills as a member of the Liberty High School Student Congress by serving on, developing, and implementing various service projects and school activities.  Carlie is a natural leader and takes great pride in her work in the classroom and serving her peers on campus.  She balances her academic and extracurricular activities while also serving a variety of volunteer activities throughout the community.  Carlie has been a student in FISD all 13 years of her academic career.

Alexa Cordero – Frisco Lebanon Trail High School

Alexa is the Student Council President, the Vice-President of National Honor Society, Co-President of Spanish Honor Society, the Senior Student Representative for PTSA, and Captain of the Girls Varsity Soccer Team.  She also plays club soccer for the Sting Soccer Club, is a Brand Ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and works as a lifeguard at Sky Ranch Camps.  In Student Council, Alexa helps to plan spirit days, spearheads the content that is pushed out on social media to encourage students to participate in dress-up days. She is the biggest cheerleader for Lebanon Trail and with her spirit and energy is able to use her sphere of influence to encourage students to show up and support the football team.

Charvi Saxena – Frisco Panther Creek High School

Charvi is involved in many activities at school including the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) and the National Honor Society.  She is also the Drill Team Captain of the Silverados where she always leads by example to ensure that their team and the student section are ready to cheer on the football team.  Charvi tries to attend every event possible to support the students at Panther Creek…it is this type of support of others and her leadership that make her the perfect recipient for the Team Behind the Team Award.

Christa Issac – Frisco Independence High School

Christa is a great example of school spirit within the Band program due to her positive attitude and joyful spirit, which she spreads to everyone.  Christa always has a smile on her face and her joyful energy helps to lift the spirits of our students.  When it comes to football games, there isn’t anyone in the band who shows more enthusiasm and support for the team.  For her support of others and undeniable school spirit, Christa is the perfect recipient for the Team Behind the Team Award.

Ava Winters – Frisco Centennial High School

Ava has been incredibly dedicated, involved and goes above and beyond at school and in the community. Over the last four years, she has been a part of Titan Spirit through Red Riot, as she shows up to cheer on the Titans and pump up the crowd.  When Ava isn’t on the field running the flags, you can see her performing on stage with the Titan Theater, helping out with P.A.L.S., or with a camera getting the latest news to report on Titan Time.  For her support of others and undeniable school spirit, Ava is a great example for “Titan Spirit”.
