2023 FALL INTERNSHIPS
FC Dallas, the Frisco Bowl and Toyota Stadium have created a unique hands-on experience for students looking to gain experience in the Sports, Marketing, and Entertainment industry.
We are looking for bright, passionate, hard-working students to be a part of our team through our internship program.
Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center is a first-of-its-kind facility located in Frisco, Texas. The complex features two major components: a 20,000 seat, state-of-the-art pro stadium immediately adjacent to a sports park with 17 championship-quality sports/soccer fields. Toyota Soccer Center is in use over 300 days per year, showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, national and international events. Toyota Stadium is the home of the Frisco Bowl, a bowl game between two FBS teams each year.
All internships for the Frisco Bowl, FC Dallas, and Toyota Stadium & Soccer Center are unpaid internships, and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required.
Note: Preferred commitment of 20 hours a week consistent with academic demands/schedule.

Frisco Bowl Events Intern | Fall 2023
All internships for the Frisco Bowl are unpaid and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internship will allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate your school and/or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required. The internship will take place from May to August 2023.
The Frisco Bowl is looking for an Events Intern to assist with the planning and preparation of events for bowl game activities. The intern will report to the Executive Director and assist with day-to-day objectives of the bowl game.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the planning and preparation for the Frisco Bowl Golf Classic (September 2023).
- Assist with the execution/follow-up of Frisco Bowl Online Charity Auction (May 2023).
- Provide support and recap of the recently held Frisco Bowl Events.
- Exposure to the management of all events and logistical needs including, but not limited to, entertainment, catering, décor, signage, audio/visual, gifts, volunteers, guest services, and events spaces.
- Assist in the planning and execution of all upcoming events related to the Frisco Bowl.
- Provide support for the team host hotels, including room planning & logistics, meeting spaces, players’ lounges, and hospitality lounges.
- Develop players’ lounge hosting and management plans.
- Develop Coaches Hospitality Lounge hosting and management plans.
- Assist in the development & direction of events including, but not limited to, Team Arrival Dinner, Player Gift Suite, Kids Day Out, Ladies Day Out, Joint Team Dinner, Charity & Hospital Visits, VIP Reception, and VIP PreGame Party.
- Assist with researching, ordering, and managing inventory of promotional giveaway items.
- Provide assistance to the Events Coordinator.
You Are:
- Organized, resourceful, and passionate student.
- A self-starter and have a can-do attitude.
- Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and working under pressure to ensure execution of events.
- Required to be able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active college student. Preferably pursing a degree and/or career in Sports Management or Event Planning.
- Must receive college credit for internship with our company.
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Excellent interpersonal plus verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.

Frisco Bowl Marketing & Digital Media Internship | Fall 2023
All internships for Frisco Bowl are unpaid internships and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required.
The Frisco Bowl is looking for a Marketing/Digital Media Intern to assist the team with marketing and social media initiatives to promote the bowl game and increase brand awareness. The intern will report to the Executive Director and assist with day-to-day objectives for the bowl game. The internship will take place from August 2022 to December 18th, 2022.
What you’ll do:
- Detailed and hands-on operations within the Marketing Department.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies to increase overall brand awareness of Frisco Bowl and its events.
- Marketing and promotional efforts such as: advertising, marketing communications and promotions.
- Conceptualize, capture and execute multimedia projects for online, social media, games, in-stadium presentation and more.
- Assist with creation of media items including TV, Radio, Print and Digital.
- Assist in developing website and social media content for the Frisco Bowl.
- Assist in creation and execution of in-game script, promotions, and entertainment.
- Assist in the implementation of all sponsor marketing activities for the game.
- Assist in coordinating Frisco Bowl’s marketing research projects.
- Assist in development and execution of all community promotions.
- Assist in the coordination of Frisco Bowl promotions team.
- Assist in the scheduling and organization of logistics and during promotions.
- Assist in promotions as related to the various Frisco Bowl marketing activities.
- Assist with creation of recap books of all media, collateral, and licensing items.
You are:
- Energetic, a self-starter, and confident student.
- Collaborative, innovative and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Deadline-driven, content creator and capable of working under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Required to be able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active college student. Preferably pursuing a degree and/or career in Sports Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing or Public Relations.
- Must receive college credit for internship with our company.
- Fully vaccinated candidates preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal plus verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are a must.
- Strong computer skills including Adobe Photoshop, social media, other networking sites, writing, editing, and typing skills.
