The Frisco Bowl Opens Entries for “Sideline Reporter Search”

Opportunity for Frisco ISD High School Students to Cover the Inaugural Football Game  

Monday, October 30, 2017-Frisco, TX: The Frisco Bowl (@FriscoBowlESPN) announced today its “Sideline Reporter Search” which will offer a unique experience for high school students as part of its social media coverage of the bowl game. The Frisco Bowl is looking for writers, reporters and social media gurus of all high school grade levels who have a passion for college sports. Selected reporters will gain valuable sports media experience and cover DFW’s newest bowl game, the Frisco Bowl, which will be played at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

Fans are encouraged to follow the Frisco Bowl Sideline Reporter Search through the contestants’ social media activity which will be featured on the Frisco Bowl’s Facebook page and Twitter feed. Additionally, theFriscobowl.com will feature a Sideline Reporter gallery showcasing the best entries and giving all fans an inside look into the unique storylines throughout the campaign.

Winners will be selected based on personality, creativity and their ability to promote the Frisco Bowl using social media and original media content.

About The Frisco Bowl
The Frisco Bowl, formerly the Miami Beach Bowl, is now owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, and is affiliated with the American Athletic Conference.

The bowl game will air on ESPN on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Toyota Stadium is the home of FC Dallas of Major League Soccer and host to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Championship Game since 2010. It has a football capacity of 20,500.
