The Team Behind the Team Award presented by Town and Country Roofing honors a senior student from each Frisco ISD high school that has shown exemplary efforts to support their football team and show school spirit. The student can come from any area of the student body and a scholarship will be presented to the winners.

Lily Holmes – Frisco Independence High School
Lily bleeds IHS, and is on the Varsity Drill Team, Choir, Theatre Group, Pep Rally Committee, and is an IHS Student Ambassador. She cheers on everyone with her positive attitude and outgoing school spirit. She is a huge asset of encouragement to Royals and LOVES her Knight Football team. She supports all our school organizations and is a Loud and Proud Knight!

Jack Copeland – Frisco High School
Jack organized the student spirit group, the “Racc Pack”, and leads the organization this year. He is also involved with the Mobile Investing Club. Jack shows spirit, excitement, and leadership throughout Frisco High games and his goal is to increase school spirit anytime he can. Jack is devoted to his fellow Raccoons and is front & center at all the games.

Emree Nagurney – Frisco Wakeland High School
Emree has been on the Wolverines Cheer Team all four years in high school and is a Varsity Co-captain this season. She is also in the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. Emree shows spirit, excitement, and leadership throughout Wolverine games and her goal is to increase school spirit anytime she can. Emree always puts Wakeland before her own needs or wants; she is a Student Leader and entirely devoted to her Wolverines.

Sydney Turner – Frisco Heritage High Schooll
Sydney has been an Athletic Trainer for Three years with the Coyotes program, and always goes above and beyond in her duties for the school’s student-athletes. She has shown great reliability and dedication for the Coyotes athletic programs by attending early morning practices, and working the Freshmen, JayVee, and Varsity Football games. Sydney cares for her peers by giving first aid during games and practices, and shows great school spirit for all of the school’s teams.

Alexis Cordero – Frisco Reedy High School
Alexis has been an Athletic Trainer for Four years with the Lions program, and always goes above and beyond in her duties for the school’s student-athletes, while also being one herself with the Cross Country team. She loves and cares for the players, and shows great school spirit for all of the school’s teams. For all of these reasons, Alexis is the perfect recipient for the “Team Behind the Team” Award.

Brianna Rochez – Frisco Memorial High School
Brianna has been a student athletic trainer for multiple years with the Warriors football program, as well as being the Boys Basketball Manager, and competes for the Memorial Track & Field team. She shows great compassion and empathy for the injured student athletes and does what she can to heal and comfort them. Brianna is a relentless worker as she is in the training room or on the field every day with the football team.

Isabella Grogman – Frisco Lebanon Trail High School
Isabella exudes spirit in everything she does for the Trail Blazers, including being on the Cheerleading team, Student Council, Yearbook staff, the Principal’s Advisory Committee and the UIL Math Team. She is active in the Junior Frisco Women’s League, and is also a past winner of the Frisco Bowl Student Sideline Reporter program.

Kate Graham – Frisco Liberty High School
Kate is heavily involved with the Redhawks and loves her school. Kate is a 4-year member of the Red Rhythm Dance Team, Wingspan News Team, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. Her support of the Redhawks on the field, as a spectator, and for her undeniable spirit for her school makes Kate a perfect recipient for the “Team Behind the Team” Award.

Alex Fredrickson – Frisco Lone Star High School
Alex has made Ranger Football her LIFE and loves her involvement as a manager with the football program. She has adopted the manager program to be intuitive and structured to support the Coaches and the Team alike. She makes sure that everyone in the program is cared for and at their best. She is also involved in many other aspects of the Lone Star student experience including the annual yearbook publication and the Ranger Student Ambassadors.

Cannon Green – Frisco Centennial High School
Cannon is a multi-sport Student Athlete for the Titans and has been a member of the football and baseball teams for the past 3 years and has been named to the All-District Academic Teams in both sports. As a high academic achiever, he is a member of the CHS National Honor Society. In the Frisco community, Cannon is involved in his church youth group and enjoys helping out at the local food bank to assist families in need.
