DXL Frisco Bowl Announces Scholarship Program with Frisco ISD

Opportunity for Frisco ISD High School Seniors to Earn Scholarships

Frisco, TX (September 17, 2018) – Frisco ISD high school seniors will have the chance to win up to $3000 in scholarships as part of the DXL Frisco Bowl’snew Team Behind the Team Scholarship Programpresented by Town & Country Roofing. Winners will be judged based on their ability to showcase school spirit, sportsmanship and an unwavering support for their school’s football team.

The DXL Frisco Bowl Team Behind the Team Scholarship Program will award Frisco ISD high school seniors with a $500 scholarship from Town & Country Roofing throughout the 2018 high school football season. The first recipient for the 2018 program is Pierce James from Frisco High School.

The recipients from each school will then have another opportunity to participate in a video contest to win an additional $2,500 scholarship. The video contest scholarship winner will be presented at The DXL Frisco Bowl which will be played at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

About The DXL Frisco Bowl
The DXL Frisco Bowl, formerly the Miami Beach Bowl, is now owned and operated by ESPN Events,a division of ESPN, and is affiliated with the American Athletic Conference.

The bowl game will air on ESPN on Wednesday, Dec. 19, live from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Toyota Stadium is the home of FC Dallas of Major League Soccer, the National Soccer Hall of Fame and host to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Championship Game since 2010. It has a football capacity of 17,200.
