10. First Frisco Bowl Kicks Off

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the SMU Mustangs meet at Toyota Stadium in Frisco to kick off the inaugural Frisco Bowl on December 20, 2017. The Bulldogs eventually prevailed over the Mustangs, 51-10.

Utah State senior quarterback Jordan Love parlayed his 2019 Frisco Bowl performance to close a storied college career with the Aggies into a first-round selection by the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.

8. J’Mar Smith Finds Teddy Veal to extend the Bulldog Lead

Louisiana Tech quarterback J’Mar Smith’s 27-yard scoring toss to Teddy Veal extended the Bulldogs’ lead over the SMU Mustangs late in the first half. This incredible touchdown completion led the Bulldogs to a 35-3 lead over the Mustangs and would ultimately help Louisana Tech seal the victory.

7. Rourke to White on 4th & 2

Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke connects with wideout Papi White on a quick pass to the keep the Bobcat drive alive on 4th & 2. The completion led to a Rourke scoring rush, the first touchdown of the 2018 Frisco Bowl.

6. Jamal Parker’s 46-Yard Clutch Kick Return

Kent State defensive back and kick returner Jamal Parker’s 46-yard return late in the fourth quarter against Utah State put the Golden Flashes in position to seal the school’s historic first-ever bowl win. Parker’s return set up a 4-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback Dustin Crum to ice the 2019 Frisco Bowl a few plays later.

5. Darryl Lewis Picks Off SMU and Scoots In For Six

Louisiana Tech safety Darryl Lewis intercepts a pass from SMU quarterback Ben Hicks and returns it for a touchdown in the 2017 Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium. This was the Bulldogs’ second pick-six of the game, extending their lead over the Mustangs to 25 points at 28-3.

4. Rourke Runs for Six

Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke fools the entire defense before he scampers into the end zone for the first touchdown of the 2018 Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl against San Diego State. Rourke’s nine-yard scoring run gave the Bobcats a 10-0 lead late in the first half. The Bobcats eventually shut out the Aztecs by a score of 27-0.

3. Mariner Finds His Footing Late To Pull Within 3

Utah State wideout Siaosi Mariner caps a long Aggie drive with a gorgeous 11-yard toe-tap touchdown to bring the Aggies within three points of Kent State in the 2019 Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium on December 20, 2019. Despite Mariner’s efforts with just over three minutes left in the game, Utah State fell to the Golden Flashes, 51-41.

2. Robertson Picks It Off And Returns It For A Louisiana Tech Touchdown

Louisiana Tech defensive back Amik Robertson jumps a throw by SMU quarterback Ben Hicks and returns it to the end zone for a 45-yard touchdown to put Louisiana Tech up 14-0 in the 2017 Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium on December 20, 2017.

1. Crum Keeps It and Ices The Game for Kent State

Kent State quarterback Dustin Crum makes a perfect read and splits two defenders on his way to a 4-yard touchdown. This would be the final score of the Golden Flashes 51-41 win over Utah State in the 2019 Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium on December 20, 2019, earning Kent State University their first-ever bowl victory.
