The Frisco Bowl is celebrating 150 years of college football during the 2019 season.  On November 6, 1869, Rutgers played Princeton in the first college football game, defeating them 6-4. This marked the historic beginning of the game we have grown to love.  Over the course of the 2019 season, the Frisco Bowl is recognizing the good of the game by sharing how college football has impacted players, coaches and fans with involvement through education, leadership, and community. Additionally, we will also count down the 150 days to the Frisco Bowl game on December 20th in Frisco, Texas.  We will look to celebrate college football by posting historical information, interesting facts, and fun tidbits on this website, our social media accounts and interacting with college football fans across the country.  Please come along and join us for a great journey through college football.
